CIA Texas—Savor the Flavor of San Antonio

Campus Highlights

Located on the San Antonio River Walk and set among the restored 19th-century buildings of the former Pearl Brewery, the CIA’s 30,000-square-foot main building features:

Provides modules and stations where students can perform lab exercises and be observed and coached on an individual basis.

Unlike any other in the world, and features both indoor and outdoor cooking stations. The kitchen captures the heritage of Latin America, with Talavera tile walls, a wood-fired oven, a Latin Foods demonstration theater, and six cooking suites.

A 2,300-square-foot space that includes a collection of more than 4,500 cataloged books. Students can also gain remote access to the college’s leading culinary library at our main New York campus.

Provides students with opportunities to enhance their skills and develop study strategies for success. It offers a wide array of services, including tutoring, disability services, testing accommodations, and mentoring programs.

Two smiling servers wearing aprons and white shirts stand outside a building with a sign reading "AVO" at the CIA San Antonio campus. Each holds a tray with multiple clear plastic cups filled with a light-colored beverage, likely welcoming guests. The background shows a warm and inviting interior.
